At Skånetrafiken, we are about 430 dedicated employees. The Business Area (BA) Bus, with our 30 employees, is responsible for bus traffic in Skåne with an annual budget of just over 3 billion. All traffic is procured and operated by various transport companies on contract.

Our new modern headquarters in Hässleholm provides space for flexible working methods and cross-functional meetings. Here, you work activity-based and choose your workstation according to your needs at the moment. You have the opportunity to divide your workweek between remote work and on-site work. Our headquarters is located adjacent to the central station, making it easy to travel here by train or bus from all over Skåne.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you have overall responsibility for developing and structuring municipal collaboration within public transport, both through administrative coordinating tasks and at a strategic level. You support both the Business Area Bus and Skånetrafiken as a whole and have overall responsibility for the development and structure of municipal collaboration. Additionally, you ensure a purposeful and effective process related to the collaboration work. The role involves working to ensure long-term commitment to public transport issues among municipalities to create attractive and efficient journeys that increase Skånetrafiken's market share.

Overall, you work to create early involvement and long-term commitment to public transport issues among municipalities and have close collaboration with business area and department heads at Skånetrafiken. In your assignment, you contribute to the development of the various departments by providing input and recommendations on how operations can develop to better achieve the business area's goals. You ensure that there is good preparation for our municipal collaboration dialogues, that our meeting processes and documentation are followed, and that follow-ups are made according to our tripartite structure. The role also involves actively contributing to the development of the unit and department.

In your assignment, you will work on developing and driving formats for municipal collaboration between Skånetrafiken, municipalities, and transport companies, as well as strengthening existing meeting structures and creating uniformity in collaborations. You coordinate meetings and workshops at both the civil servant and political levels, lead goal-setting work, and contribute to the development of joint documents. The role also includes coordination between presidiums, steering groups, and working groups, both internally at Skånetrafiken and with transport companies and municipalities in Skåne. You coordinate the preparation of cases internally, coordinate between different departments, and work on strategic planning together with the staff and other functions.

An important part of the assignment is to ensure that we strategically work on the right issues at the right time, create long-term commitment to public transport issues, and identify the need for input for the municipal dialogue. You will also work on administrative tasks such as practical meeting planning, coordination of invitations and stakeholders, preparation of meeting content, and compilation and distribution of meeting materials. You ensure that documentation is accessible and up-to-date and conduct environmental monitoring within the area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in social sciences, urban planning, political science, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent competence through work experience in a relevant field. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written forms. We also see that you have a good understanding of process-oriented business development. It is a prerequisite for the position that you have good computer skills. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of municipal administration gained through experience. Additionally, we see it as beneficial if you have previous experience working with public transport issues.

As a person, you are unpretentious and thrive in a role where you have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally. You are a meticulous administrator with a good ability to structure, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Since you have many collaboration interfaces at different levels in your role, we see that you enjoy collaborating, giving presentations, and building networks with both external and internal parties. In your meetings with our various partners, you need to be confident in advocating and driving Skånetrafiken's interests while also considering the bigger picture and working for both the individual municipalities' needs and the regional ones. This requires you to be both attentive, pedagogical, and a skilled communicator with the ability to tailor your message to the target audience.
